Operational excellence is a baseline for survival in food manufacturing. This is where the 5S system becomes indispensable. As you might know, 5S is a Japanese concept that stands for Sort (Seiri), Set in Order (Seiton), Shine (Seiso), Standardize (Seiketsu), and Sustain (Shitsuke).
