On Sept. 10, Nelson-Jameson celebrated the grand opening of its modern distribution center in Fairview, PA. We shared the day with the Nelson-Jameson team, our customers, partners, and their families, as well as government officials and the media who helped share our story with the world.
We were so excited to mark this milestone as we expand our capabilities and serve customers on the East Coast. We cut the ribbon and gave tours of our new 45,000-square-foot facility, and took the opportunity to share this new chapter with the community and people from across the food manufacturing industry.
We also had an informative presentation on Holistic Approaches to Food Safety & Risk Management by Dr. Martin Wiedmann. As a Gellert Family Professor in Food Safety at Cornell University, Dr. Wiedmann shared his pioneering research on food microbiology and foodborne pathogens.
We also held an interactive art exhibit to produce a mural to honor the occasion, and we can't wait to share the finished product!
Thank you again for your continued support. We look forward to our continued partnership.
For those who couldn't make it, or for anyone who wants to look back on the day, here is a collection of photos, news coverage, and social media highlights from the event.
