New 45,000-square-foot Pennsylvania facility and food safety expert staff will deliver products and services to the region

Nelson-Jameson has announced its expansion strategy to better serve regional customers and partners on the East Coast. The company’s new Fairview, PA, facility will hold its grand opening on Sept. 10 and continue expanding its team to strengthen operations throughout the region.

The Fairview distribution center is one of five Nelson-Jameson distribution centers across the country, reinforcing the company’s core mission of delivering a broad range of products and services that help food manufacturers uphold the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. In addition to local full-time warehouse operations staff, Nelson-Jameson has made three new hires on the East Coast to bolster capabilities and customer support: Tom Willard (strategic account manager), Andy Ziobert (sanitary process & maintenance expert), and Matt Hudkins (food safety & quality expert). In 2024, Nelson-Jameson expanded its team with strategic account managers Sam Siddall and Nick Manfred to serve the Midwest and East regions.

“Deep community relationships, fast response times, and a true understanding of regional market needs have always been paramount to the Nelson-Jameson mission,” said Mike Rindy, president of Nelson-Jameson. “Our commitment to empowering the food processing industry on the East Coast is evident in our new team members and our most recent expansion in Fairview, Pennsylvania. Our substantial investment in the new distribution center highlights our dedication to the area while prioritizing food quality and safety for our customers and consumers alike.”

Initially built in 2004 and fully remodeled in 2025, the Fairview distribution center sits on an 8.4-acre lot with an adjacent 20-acre parcel reserved for future expansion. An additional 16,000-square-foot second-floor mezzanine complements the building’s 45,000-square-foot footprint and is undergoing significant renovations to enhance functionality, capacity, and the employee experience. The facility also features 12 truck bays for its transportation and delivery fleet. The company previously opened its Jerome, ID, distribution in 2024, expanding its reach alongside its Marshfield, WI, Amarillo, TX, and Turlock, CA, locations.
